Billy Tang is a renowned agriculturalist, social entrepreneur, and strong advocate for persons with disabilities. Founder & CEO of PwD Smart FarmAbility,Billy suffered a spinal cord injury from a nasty car accident, which left him paralysed from the waist down. Despite this, he continues to be passionate about promoting healthy living, economic opportunity, and community empowerment through innovative, nature-positive agricultural solutions.
He is a national and international icon in the agriculture and disability fields, and receive numerous accolades and recognition for his outstanding service and contribution to society. He has developed and implemented innovative agri-innovation solutions and advocated for the decentralisation of food systems to empower the poorest. His social enterprise is accredited by KUSKOP & MaGIC. Billy is married to Mdm Moh Wai Ching and has two sons aged 30 and 28.
