Courtesy of Rusa & Rimba by Wondermilk, PWD Smart Farmability was sponsored a booth at Pasar Seloka. The one-day event was held in The Starling Mall (Damansara Uptown) on 5 October 2019 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Pasar Seloka is a collaborative lifestyle pop-up event that hosts a range of small businesses found in the creative community. Recognised for their selection of local artisans and homegrown brands that are unique, of value and high quality, their events attract people of every interest every time.
With the help of Admi from Rusa & Rimba by Wondermilk and their team who extended their unconditional invitation to participate in the event, PWD Smart Farmability was able to spread our message of hope and efforts to build an inclusive society. We were pleased to be able to introduce our HOPE Box that has low carbon emissions, is energy efficient and is climate change resilient to the attendees that day.
As a neighbourhood-supported farmer, we were glad to be able to raise the awareness of our environmentally sustainable solution that is both affordable and healthier to the event's attendees. Apart from that, the attendees had a better chance to understand our efforts in empowering OKU families with meaningful jobs and nutritious food through our "Organic Terrarium Grow Box Adoption Program" and our Zero Reject Policy.
With our emphasis in breaking the cycle of the conventional food chain to bring whole food and nutrition to the marginalised, a whopping 51 units of the HOPE Box were adopted that day in less than 48 hours.
